Module II - Osteopathic Semiology of Sports Injuries
Structural Osteopathy in Sport
-
ApresentaçãoPresentationIn sports, osteopathy is often used as a measure to improve the athlete's performance, treat injuries and prevent their occurrence. Applying diagnostic knowledge and high capacities to the level of palpatory techniques, the stoopaths can help restore structural balance, improve joint mobility and reduce soft tissue restrictions, thus allowing the movement and performance of the athlete to be easily restored. When supporting high-performance athletes who push their body and mind to the limit, the osteopath must be aware of the risks and know how to react quickly and accurately.
