Determinants Definition; Theorem of Laplace; Adjunct matrix and inverse; Cramer's rule. 3. Exponential and logarithm functions Inverse functions; exponential function; logarithm function; Applications to Economics. 4. Limits and continuity Definition; calculating limits; continuity 5. Derivatives Definition and derivation rules; diferentials; derivative of the implicit function; relative extrema; Hôpital's rule; applications to Economics.

    Students will gain a set of theotical and practical capacities that will allow them to understand and undertake research projects in Economics, Management and Accountacy, with an emphasis on the mathematics of Real Calculus and Linear Algebra.
