PRESENTATION

ECIA - School of Communication, Innovation and the Arts is the training and research unit of IPLUSO - Polytechnic Institute of Lusophony geared towards promoting training programmes and research activities in the fields of Communication and the Arts. As the school's name suggests, ECIA wants to be an innovative teaching and research project by promoting the articulation and cross-fertilisation of knowledge and skills between the different disciplines it incorporates. In a context where the creative industries are increasingly becoming a central sector of our economy, ECIA is committed to developing training and research projects based on innovative methodologies, where technical and artistic skills take centre stage and where the development of projects and applications is a fundamental vector of the school's activity. ECIA offers CTeSP and degree programmes in a variety of fields ranging from photography to design, including audiovisual and illustration.
