Objectives: To provide a solid and comprehensive training in Chinese language and culture. The aim is to acquire communication skills in Mandarin at HSK II level. It prepares you for interactions in Mandarin at pre-intermediate level and gives you a comprehensive knowledge of Chinese cultural heritage.

Candidates must submit a Certificate of Qualifications or equivalent and a Curriculum Vitae. An interview will be held in the event of a tie.

The Postgraduate Programme in Mandarin and Chinese Culture aims to provide linguistic and cultural skills about China.

Holders of a bachelor's degree or equivalent interested in developing competence in the Chinese language (Mandarin) and culture.

Communicative skills in Mandarin at HSK II level, through teaching focussed on phonetics, vocabulary, listening comprehension and the most important grammatical structures. By the end of the programme, students will be prepared for interactions in Mandarin at pre-intermediate level and will have a comprehensive knowledge of Chinese cultural heritage.

Translation and interpreting (as a basis), international relations, cultural consultancy, academic research, tourism and the organisation of cultural events. Professional activities in the field of communication, media and marketing associated with China are also covered.
