    The medical semiology curricular unit is part of the clinical area and aims to introduce the basic concepts necessary for the practice of evidence-based nursing, thus being fundamental in the development of the necessary skills for the exercise of veterinary nursing.

  • ObjectivosObjectives
    It is intended to create theoretical and practical bases and teach clinical reasoning towards the recognition of important key concepts in the veterinary clinical approach, namely through the enhancement of relevant clues in the interpretation of the physical examination, integrating the concepts into the actual practice of clinical cases.

    - Audiovisual means to present videos, images, cases and situations that highlight and put into practice the theoretical syllabus taught in the classroom; - Promote the inclusion of lectures, seminars or workshops on topics associated with the syllabus of the curricular unit; - Promote discussions and clinical debates on the topics taught in class; - Study actions oriented on different topics within the scope of the curricular unit, providing the tools and directing the student in scientific research, critical analysis and synthesis of the collected information.
