ObjectivosObjectives- Mastering the basics of botany required to recognize the characteristics of medicinal plants most commonly used in the West and in the East. - Know the stages of production of raw materials for applications in plant health. - Know the pharmaceutics processing techniques of plants for medicinal purposes in accordance with EU Pharmacopoeias, USA and China. - Understanding the (phyto) chemical nature of herbs and its relationship with the biogenesis and botanical name. - To relate the composition of a formulation according to the type of physical-chemical processing. - Linking the physiological and / or therapeutic effect of each plant / plant part depending on the characteristics phytochemical - Know about general criteria for assessing the quality, safety and efficacy in the Dispensary. - Familiarize with the Herbaria.
