    The structuring of tourism products has the potential to leverage territories in social, economic, environmental, and cultural terms. Therefore, this course aims to study and evaluate strategies applied to the tourism system to promote the integrated sustainability of destinations.

  • ObjectivosObjectives
    Understand the methods and tools used in the planning and development of tourism activities. Raise students' awareness of the ongoing nature of the tourism planning process, where cooperation and coordination among the different stakeholders are essential for sustainable tourism. Provide practical knowledge that enables the preparation of tourism development studies and projects. Understand the different phases of a tourism planning process at the local level. Learn methodologies for structuring tourism products from the perspective of destination managers.

The course includes the following continuous assessment elements: Participation and attendance: 10%. Intermediate test – 30% Individual work – report and presentation/discussion (15’ + 5’): 20% (average of both assessments); Written test: 40%;
