ApresentaçãoPresentationThe objective of this curricular unit is to sensitize students to the different intervention models of Psychology in a clinical context, while at the same time allowing them to deepen their communication knowledge, in order to make their intervention more effective and adapted to the different circumstances and situations.

ObjectivosObjectives* Understand the theories and models of communication studies. * Analyze the individual (developmental and personality), psychosocial and cultural elements that influence communication. Emotions and communication. * Know is own style of communication, in a way to improve it. * Study the different communication situations that could happen in a consultation context. * Learn how to solve the difficulties and resistance in change behavior when the prescription of healthy lifestyles. * Learn how to resolve difficult communication situations and conflicts. * Develop the capacity to use communication theories in the professional context, namely consultation. * Amplify the skill to obtain the patient adherence to the healthy lifestyle prescription. * Develop the skill to the resolution of problematic communication situations or conflicts.
