Tourism Business Management
-
ApresentaçãoPresentationIn this curricular unit, students of the Degree in Tourism Management are introduced to relevant methodological reflection, in its different constituent parts – epistemological bases, research questions and methods – for the scientific domain of Science. Thinking about the choices that build the paths of research, the relationship between the research subject and their contexts and narratives, objects, other subjects and their active subjectivities, numerical data and statistics, parameters and variables, requires at least a reflective initiation. The sequence of stages in which the subject's curricular contents are arranged - epistemological framework, ways of structuring and enunciating questions, and diversity of methods - produces as an integrated result the preparation of students in order to fulfill the fundamental objective of the curricular unit: to do appropriate methodological choices based on a consolidated background
