    The general objective of the 9 seminars is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop editorial projects such as illustrated albums, comics, artist's books, and more experimental publications. These projects should reflect on sequential visual narratives within a contemporary and interdisciplinary dynamic, targeted at specific audiences.

    9 sessions covering essential content related to the various phases of ideation, production, and dissemination of an editorial project, with a focus on sequential visual narrative for specific audiences. 1: Editorial Project Design and Planning: Pre-production, Production, Post-production, Dissemination and Promotion. 2: Color and Composition. 3: Speech Balloons and Lettering for Comics and Illustrated Books. 4: Digital Comics, Webtoons, Webcomics, and Motion Comics. 5: Audiovisual Narratives: Video and Animation. 6: Developing Target Audiences for Editorial and Transmedia Projects. 7: Audiovisual Narratives: Sequential Thinking to Communicate Ideas. 8: Legislation on Copyright, Intellectual Property Rights, Image Rights, Contracts and Other Legal Issues, ISBN and Legal Deposit. 9: Portfolio, Self-promotion, Online Presence, Graphic Identity.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    The general objective of the 9 seminars is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop editorial projects such as illustrated albums, comics, artist's books, and more experimental publications. These projects should reflect on sequential visual narratives within a contemporary and interdisciplinary dynamic, targeted at specific audiences. The specific objectives are: to understand the various stages of production of an artistic editorial project and its promotion/dissemination in the artistic and editorial market; to recognize different ways of developing sequential visual narratives in contemporary contexts for different audiences and their potential for adaptation to other media; to acquire knowledge of legal and juridical issues for informed professionalization; and to innovate in creative proposals.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    The sessions are conducted through interactive oral presentations, with questions posed for students to answer individually and collectively. The presentation of results by the student requires active participation in the learning process. It is the student's responsibility to research and investigate the seminar topics.
