      The objectives of the curricular unit are: - Present and develop concepts, methodologies and instruments for effective participation in the strategic management process; - Understand the different situations of strategic analysis, including the analysis of the environment, industry and stakeholders; - Use rational approaches to identify and choose alternatives including key skills and strategy based on scale and non-scale; - Analyze issues and practices related to the implementation of the chosen strategies; - Understand the concept of innovation and its importance in a business context; - Relate the different types of innovation with the creation of business positioning strategies; - Understand the concept of governance and its impact on business sustainability.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
    The themes will be presented in each session in an expository way, so that, after being exposed, a space for discussion can be opened with students. In addition, the active method will also be used, carrying out various practical activities, such as application exercises in a business context and  construction,analysis and discussion of case studies. Continuous assessment will be carried out through group research and development work (50%) and respective oral presentation and defense (40%). Participation and attendance in teaching activities (10%). Exam Period / Written Test (100%).The evaluation is carried out in accordance with the General Evaluation Regulations of IP Luso. Furthermore, the use of appropriate methodologies for distance learning, such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), which encourages the resolution of real problems, is assumed to be effective.
