An investigative approach to children’s rights in education
This seminar was coordinated by Professor Clementina Rios within the curricular unit Supervised Teaching Practice I and the unit Intervention and Research Methodologies in Education of the Master’s in Early Childhood and 1st Cycle of Basic Education. It aims to promote critical and collaborative reflection on children’s rights in educational practice. Through micro-investigations conducted by master’s students, based on interviews with early childhood educators and 1st cycle teachers, the multiple dimensions of children’s rights are explored: education, participation, freedom, equality, protection, and play.
