The School of Engineering and Technologies has already marked the start of the 2026/27 academic year with a welcome session on academic life
The School of Engineering and Technologies (EET) at IPLuso welcomed new students and teaching staff at a welcome session dedicated to the start of the 2026/27 academic year.
The event, scheduled for 23 September at 2.30 pm in the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium at Universidade Lusófona in Lisbon, aimed to provide an initial introduction to the academic community and to share essential information for this new stage.
The programme began with a session dedicated to welcoming participants and introducing academic life, during which important information was shared with the new members of EET. The IPLuso Students’ Association also took part in the session, helping new students become familiar with the community’s activities and opportunities for participation in academic life.
Technology was also a key focus. In the second part, entitled “From Numbers to Bars”, participants were invited to discover how the EAN-13 system works, one of the most widely used barcode formats for product identification.
