A moment of sharing and reflection with students, future educators and teachers
As part of the curricular unit "Introduction to Professional Practice", ESEL-IPLUSO welcomed two psychologists on 12 May for a moment of sharing and reflection with our students, future educators and teachers.
Throughout the session, the importance of socio-emotional skills in children's development was discussed — knowing how to listen, understanding emotions, building healthy relationships and promoting more empathetic and safe environments, both inside and outside the classroom.
It was a meeting marked by the exchange of experiences, closeness and the awareness that educating is much more than transmitting knowledge: it is about caring, understanding and helping each child grow in a balanced and happy way.
We would like to thank Francisca Saraiva and Inês Correia for sharing their knowledge, generosity and inspiration.
