A student immersion in Portugal's largest documentary film festival
First- and second-year students of the Professional Higher Technical Course in Audiovisual Content Production undertook a study visit to the Doclisboa25 Festival. They attended the films “Complô”, by João Miller Guerra, and “A Scary Movie”, by Sergio Oskman. At the end of the screening, they took part in a Q&A with the filmmakers.
Doclisboa 25 is the 23rd edition of the international festival dedicated to documentary cinema, and the event took place in Lisbon between 16 and 26 October 2025.
In the festival's official statement, Doclisboa is regarded not merely as a film showcase but as a space for reflection: “cinema … can be … a remarkable tool for inquiry and investigation into our miseries and our dreams and hopes.”
