International Cooperation in Health Strengthened with Visit of the Rector of UMA – Peru

Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário Lisboa welcomed the Rector of Universidad María Auxiliadora, Peru, to strengthen cooperation in Health Sciences
Universidade Lusófona welcomed an institutional visit from the Rector of Universidad María Auxiliadora (UMA), Peru, Dr. Gladys Moran Paredes, as part of efforts to reinforce academic and scientific cooperation in the field of Health Sciences.
The institutional agenda included meetings with the Rector of Universidade Lusófona, Professor José Bragança de Miranda, with the Administrator, Professor Manuel de Almeida Damásio, and with academic leaders from the organisational units ECTS – School of Health Sciences and Technologies and ERISA – Ribeiro Sanches School of Health.
The meetings provided an opportunity to deepen dialogue on academic standards, academic and scientific mobility, and the development of joint research projects, with particular emphasis on the areas of Pharmacy and Nutrition. Opportunities for structured cooperation were also explored, aiming to promote student and faculty exchange, as well as collaborative research initiatives with international impact.
This initiative marks another step in consolidating strategic international partnerships, expanding opportunities for the academic community and strengthening the quality of education and research in Health Sciences.
