Pedro Miguel Nunes, lecturer at ESEL, launches his first historical novel, which takes readers on a journey to romantic Italy at the end of the 19th century
In May 2025, the first historical novel, entitled "A Máscara", was released, authored by Pedro Miguel Nunes, a professor at the Escola Superior de Educação of IPLUSO.
The novel takes us on a journey to romantic Italy at the end of the 19th century, into the world of opera and the Venice Carnival, where a naïve and idealistic young man falls in love with someone he knows only as "the Mask".
An intense novel about the search for happiness, the meaning of life, and absolute values such as friendship, commitment, love’s death, and unquestionable loyalty.
