Basic Education students explored the renovated National Museum of Music in Mafra, on a visit that enriched their musical learning.
On January 5, 2026, the class of Musical Expression Workshops from the 2nd year of the Degree in Basic Education visited the National Museum of Music, which was transferred from the Alto dos Moinhos metro station to the Mafra National Palace.
Reopened on November 22, 2025, the National Museum of Music is fully renovated, set in a spacious site of great historical significance, now displaying more instruments that were previously in storage and allowing students a more interactive and thematic learning experience.
The visit was a success and significantly complemented the training previously provided in class on the Orchestra and its Instruments.
The students’ expressions clearly showed their satisfaction!
