BICOREP: Impact on the Future of Health
IPLUSO leads the BICOREP project (Erasmus Mundus Design Measures), an initiative dedicated to developing a Master's program in Bioinformatics, integrating computational biomedicine, clinical research, and public health. This project aims to address emerging healthcare challenges in Europe by equipping professionals with essential interdisciplinary skills. It involves an international consortium of institutions from Brazil, France, Latvia, Spain, Poland, and Portugal, ensuring a significant transnational educational impact.
ArleKinPro: Innovative Training for European Social Mediation
The ArleKinPro project aims to develop an innovative and accessible training model for social mediation, recognized at the European level. With an international consortium that includes IPLUSO, this initiative promotes certification through micro-credentials, empowering professionals to respond to emerging social challenges. The project reinforces IPLUSO’s commitment to educational innovation and social impact in European mediation.
NICiTeS: Advancing Research in Health Sciences and Technologies
The Health Sciences and Technologies Research Unit (NICiTeS), established on April 13, 2016, at ERISA, is dedicated to advancing scientific research at IPLUSO. Comprising PhD-holding faculty members and study cycle directors, NICiTeS marks the foundation of a future Research Unit in Health Sciences and Technologies, strengthening the production of applied knowledge. Aligned with the Polytechnic Institutes’ Modernization Program, this research unit fosters connections between science, society, and the productive sector, consolidating IPLUSO's role in innovation and scientific impact in the healthcare sector.
