Clinical Semiology

Osteopathy
  • ApresentaçãoPresentation
Clinical Semiology involves obtaining relevant data on the temporal evolution of complaints and physical examination. It is the basis for understanding the sick human being. The valuation of analytical data always requires the application of its abstract value to the unrepeatable specificity of the patient concerned. The domain of semiology is very complex and time consuming and laborious, implying mastery of several components: knowledge of normal physiology and multiple disease mechanisms, mastery of data collection methods and techniques, whether clinical history or physical examination, and ability to interpret the data collected. Clinical Semiology is considered one of the essential sciences of health sciences courses.
