ApresentaçãoPresentationIn the Fundamentals of Nursing II Curricular Unit, key nursing concepts relevant to its metaparadigms are addressed: person, health, environment and nursing, transmitting scientific and technical knowledge on which nursing praxis is based (capacity for ethical decision-making, elaboration of the Nursing process according to the ICNP language; Nursing process in a simulation context) and, concepts about the health-disease process throughout the life cycle and with regard to the multidimensionality of the person and its implications in the satisfaction of Basic Human Needs ( NHB).

ObjectivosObjectives1. Understand the nurse's contribution to health promotion, self-care, and health/disease transition processes. 2. Approach the client/family with a view to establishing an empathetic relationship, respect for the rights, autonomy, dignity, privacy of the client/family, the principles of confidentiality and the client's informed and informed consent. 3. Promote the satisfaction of NHB related to: Breathing; Food; Elimination; Mobility; Communication and Death. 4. Develop critical and reflective thinking skills in nursing decision-making. 5. Carry out the Nursing Process according to the ICNP language. 6. Develop the nursing process in a simulation context.
