    Introduction to Visual Narrative: - Analysis of the basic structure of a narrative - Fundamental elements of storytelling: narrator, characters, action, setting, time Creative Writing Techniques Applied to Visual Arts: - Character development - Dialogue and monologue construction - Visual and textual descriptions: creative complement vs. redundancy - Narrative rhythm and scene transitions Genres and Formats: - Picture book - Comic book - Artist's book - Visual essay: breaking boundaries and hybridizing genres Creative and Editorial Process: - Development of synopses and scripts - Creation of storyboards and layouts - Adapting the narrative to the target audience and editorial context Case Studies: - Discussion of narrative techniques and creative choices

    Understand the conceptual and structural principles of a verbal and visual narrative. Identify and analyze the narrative techniques used in Picture Books, Comics, and Artist's Books. Recognize the specificities of visual storytelling and its relationship (similarities/differences) with verbal/written text. Explore creative approaches to storytelling, considering the target audience and editorial context. Develop coherent narratives adapted to specific visual formats. Apply creative writing techniques in narrative structure, character development, descriptions, and dialogue. Thoughtfully integrate text and image, understanding the conventions and innovations of literary/artistic genres. Develop and present complete editorial proposals (synopses, storyboards, scripts). Master tools and methodologies for creating visual narratives. Critically reflect on one's own creative process. Develop the ability to receive and incorporate feedback effectively.

Individual and group practical exercises (character creation, dialogues, environments, storyboards). Guidance and discussion on processes and development of editorial proposals. Presentation and discussion of work in the classroom.
