ObjectivosObjectives- Know how travel agents and tour operators work and how they are organised; - Identify the specific characteristics and constraints of the work of travel agents and tour operators in an era of globalisation; - Organising, structuring and coordinating the organisation of group travel tailored to the motivations of clients; - Commercialise tourist packages and products distributed by tour operators, providing correct information to the customer and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of what they are selling; - Understand the importance of ICT applied to travel agencies.

MetodologiaMethodologya) Continuous assessment: In this modality, the curricular unit considers a theoretical-practical approach that includes: - Lectures in classroom sessions; - Guided practical sessions involving the preparation and presentation of tourist packages; - Role-play sessions in travel agencies, making reservations for tourist services using the Galileo GDS, in close articulation with the Digital Platforms in Tourism course. Evaluation criteria - Attendance and active participation in class discussions: 20%. - Group work: 50%. - Test 30% (b) Final assessment: Final examination: 100%.
