ProgramaProgrammeIntroduction to camouflage as a means of survival, as a game and tool. Understanding the face and the human body at various ages to better transform it. Understand its shape and symmetry in order to conceive and project the alteration through masks and prostheses in sketches and drawings made in manual and digital techniques. Creation of camouflage patterns through face paint make-up, taking into account the brightness and opacity of these pigments. Creation of 3D masks and prostheses using sculpture techniques: modeling and molding, and materials such as plaster, silicone, fabric, pulp, clay, paraffin and paints.

ObjectivosObjectivesThis UC aims to provide students with skills to work the characterization of the body and face through masks of sculptural character (molding and modeling), face painting (make-up), drawings and sketches showing the idea for a disguise using digital and manuals techniques. How to transform the form and looks of a person towards a character. The objectives are: Recognize the possibilities of visual transformation of the human body and face in a visual and formal, plastic aproach. Sketch ideas for transformation using manual and digital techniques. Realize the ideas through 2D (surface) and 3D (form, shape) characterization techniques, exploring the plasticity of sculpture, namely modeling and molding of plaster masks and prosthetic accessories, paper pulp, clay, paraffin. Understand, apply and explore these techniques to camouflage the body and face and develop masks and prostheses of an authorial nature.
