ApresentaçãoPresentationThis curricular unit aims to provide students with a set of knowledge and tools that promote the development of nursing research skills. It is recommended that the student build a research project in a theoretical-practical context, facilitating the integration of the contents presented and discussed in the theoretical classes. In Nursing Research I, the project will integrate the conceptual and methodological stages.

Reading and Analysis of Research Problem Identification and Conceptual Framework Construction Qualitative and Quantitative Approach Design of the methodological course Ethical Issues in Research Research Project Theoretical framework Identification of the problem Formulation of the question / departure questions Goals Methodology: type of study, quantitative approach (with variables and possible hypotheses) or qualitative, population, sample and sampling process, techniques instrument of data collection, data collection, treatment, interpretation and data analysis, ethical considerations, Discussion and dissemination of results / findings.

ObjectivosObjectivesHas the ability to critically analyze and synthesize available evidence and information; Understands key concepts in research and nursing; It holds knowledge about the evolution of nursing as a discipline and science; Know the stages of the investigation process; Identifies the integrative elements of each stage of the research process; It understands the investigative course and selects the techniques and tools appropriate to each paradigmatic approach. Respects the ethical principles of research; It understands the value of evidence to assist in understanding the response to the life process of the individuals, family, and community targeted for nursing care as well as the nature and process of all nursing interventions; Recognizes the relevance of developing evidence through research. Can design a research project in a care area.
