    To analyze and interpret the company as a specific organization in the context of a society of organizations. To understand the company as an open system, inserted in a rapidly changing, contextual and business environment, with the resulting consequences in terms of sustained competitive capacity. To understand the role of managers and the role of management in the maintenance of the competitive capacity of the company regarding short term balance, and also mid- and long-term  sustainability. To understand and to apply the fundamental knowledge on the management functions in the management cycle. To understand and to apply the fundamental knowledge about strategic management in a competitive and ever changing environment.
