Physical Sciences II

Primary Education
  • ApresentaçãoPresentation
It is a course that seeks to develop students' curiosity and critical thinking regarding Physics and Chemistry. In this course it is intended that the student can acquire an integrated view of these two areas of Science, through an epistemological perspective. From this integrated vision, we seek to invest in problem-based learning, encouraging experimentation as an essential way of learning these disciplines.

  • ObjectivosObjectives
Use a rigorous scientific language. Interpret the real world in the light of chemistry and physics. Use methods and procedures inherent in the way the chemistry and physics analyzes and study natural phenomena and situations in general. Dealing with daily situations and interpret knowledge and practices of Chemistry and Physics. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of phenomena related to chemistry and physics, trying to structure them on the form of concepts, laws and theorems. Solve numeric and non-numeric problems and explain the reasoning processes. Demonstrate a scientific attitude, mobilizing the processes by which knowledge is constructed. Perform and interpret laboratory activities diversified Chemistry and Physics, related to basic education.

  • MetodologiaMethodology
Methodologies centered on "learning by doing" make the student the center of learning. Thus, the teacher appears as the mediator between the knowledge (the contents) and the different forms of access to the same, expressed in the methodologies.
