ObjectivosObjectivesThe purpose of the CU is to analyze social interaction and group phenomena and their influence on individual psychological processes. This UC encourages the understanding of the scientific approach of social psychology, through the learning of the specific methods and research techniques that are at its core. On completion of the course, students should be able to: Recognize the main areas of interest in social psychology (O1); Identify and understand the relevant methods used in this area (O2); Understand the concept of group and the processes of social influence (O3); Recognize the concept of attitude, its relation with behavior, and understand how it can change (O4); Describe the process of person perception as well as the concept of social stereotype (O5); Understand the principles that govern intergroup relations (O6).
