    The Internship, curricular unit integrated in the 2nd semester of the 2nd year of the technical course study plan professional degree in Automation and Robotics, while training component in a work context, its purpose is to allow the student to insertion in the work environment and in functions related to their area of training, aiming to apply the knowledge and knowledge acquired to practical activities of the respective professional profile. The Internship is a curricular unit that aims to establish a connection with entities in reception, with a view to enabling the application of knowledge in a real work context acquired by the student during the academic part of the respective study cycle, in order to consolidate them and can develop new skills and competencies.

    This training in a work context, Internship, which constitutes an integral and mandatory part of the professional higher technician course in Automation and Robotics will be held in a company. The student, together with the academic advisor and business advisor, will prepare a plan internship to be developed in a work context. Throughout the internship period, you will seek to develop and accomplish the same. This plan will indicate the general lines of the tasks to be carried out by the student in the scope of this curricular unit. A supervisor responsible for the internship will be appointed by the Institute. The company will appoint a supervisor that will accompany the internship, and at the end there will be a public presentation of the internship report that will be submitted for final evaluation.
  • ObjectivosObjectives
    In general terms, it is intended that students in an internship environment in the companies where they are inserted can: - Apply, in a real context and in an integrated and interdisciplinary way, the knowledge acquired in the different components of the training. - Adapt and develop work habits according to the reality of a company. - Demonstrate capacity for interpersonal relationships with differentiated interlocutors with meaning ethical and deontological; - Describe the technologies, products and services present in companies. - Demonstrate versatility and a spirit of initiative; - Demonstrate the ability to adapt to the evolution of procedures and technologies; - Develop and publicly present reports and other documents.

    Training in a work context, Internship, is face-to-face. With this framework it is intended gradually guide the student towards a gradual application of the knowledge acquired in relation to different tasks and jobs that are indicated to you.
