With the recognised teaching quality of the largest education group in the country, Lusófona University and the Polytechnic Institute of Lusophony, through its executive school Lusófona Executive School, and in partnership with a digital platform composed of several national companies and institutions, this training in "Digital Transformation for Managers", as part of the Líder + Digital programme, is a key catalyst in empowering managers and business leaders, enabling them not only to understand but to effectively lead the process of digital transformation within their organisations.
This programme is structured around carefully selected course units to address key aspects of digital transformation, including:
- Leadership in Digital Transformation: Develop adaptive leadership skills to guide teams through the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation.
- Customers: Creating Value from Digital Marketing to Customer Experience: Explore strategies to digitally engage customers and maximise value through personalised experiences.
- Innovation: in start-ups and large enterprises: Foster a culture of continuous innovation, adaptable to both start-ups and established businesses.
- Technologies: disruptive enablers: Identify and apply disruptive technologies that act as catalysts for digital transformation.
- Data and Artificial Intelligence: a business asset: Leverage data and AI to drive insight-based decisions, optimise processes, and innovate products/services.
Target Audience
This initiative is intended for individuals, regardless of their level of digital proficiency, who are:
- Managers and executives of companies, business associations, and social economy entities;
- Senior technical staff with potential for leadership and management responsibilities.
Among the identified target audience, preference will be given to individuals who:
- Belong to the underrepresented gender in leadership and management positions, as per the Labour Code;
- Are managers and executives of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises according to Article 100 of the Labour Code.
Applicants must provide a declaration signed by the top representative of the employing organisation, certifying:
- The position and responsibilities held by the applicant;
- Authorisation by the employer’s top representative to implement a digital transformation action plan, considering the organisation’s size and digital maturity;
- The organisation's size (number of employees listed in the staff plan);
- Authorisation for assessing the organisation's digital maturity level.
If the top representative of the employing organisation also wishes to benefit from this measure, the attached declaration must also be submitted, under a statement of honour.
Objectives
- Empower Digital Transformation: Enable managers to drive innovative digital transformation processes in their organisations, focusing on economic sectors and social economy entities.
- Develop Digital Management Skills: Provide a structured training path for participants to acquire and apply relevant digital skills in business management, using practical and interactive methods.
- Design Strategic Action Plans: Equip participants with the tools to develop tailored digital transformation action plans, adapted to the digital maturity of their organisations, with strategic impact.
- Evaluate and Adapt to Digital Maturity: Enable managers to assess and diagnose their organisation’s level of digital maturity, tailoring strategies to their context.
- Apply Equal Opportunity Principles: Promote equal opportunities by prioritising the participation of managers from micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, in line with gender equality and inclusion policies.
