    Games have been gaining ground in non-formal and formal education, given their recognized potential in various contexts as an innovative and versatile working tool. The gaming experience simulates social and emotional processes, promoting the development of skills in players and leading them to deal with situations that: i) involve cooperation and competition; ii) require creative solutions to solve problems; iii) work on the ability to manage emotions. This course, with its strong practical component, aims to respond to the growing need for training in this area. Face-to-face mode, with the participation of expert guests at a distance.

    - Contextualize the emergence and growth of games as a playful activity and as a useful tool for developing skills; - Explore different types of games and promote practical activities with games; - Present and discuss cases of the use of games in various areas of work; - Understand and demystify concepts associated with the activity of playing; - Address the main advantages and benefits of using this tool in the socio-educational sphere; - Promote intervention skills using games, in various contexts and for various audiences, and develop a practical project.
