Students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Education took part in a guided dance tour at Palácio Pimenta
During the last class of the 1st semester of the curricular unit Integration of Expressive Practices (Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Education), the group of students took part in a guided dance tour.
The activity is inspired by the life of the dancer Valentim de Barros (1916–1986), combining movement, memory and identity to honour a dancer silenced by prejudice.
A workshop to dance the city at Palácio Pimenta, based on some of the exhibited pieces — an invitation for the body to be embraced as a space of freedom and artistic expression.
