Basic Education and Childcare students begin the academic year with a visit to Galeria Quadrum
Students from the Higher Professional Technical Course in Child and Youth Care in the Workshop of the Arts module, and the Degree in Basic Education as part of the Integration of Expressive Practices module, kicked off the academic year with a visit to Carla Cabanas' exhibition "O Bestiário" at Galeria Quadrum.
Artist Carla Cabanas presented the exhibition and the works that make up "O Bestiário", inspired by Jorge Luis Borges's "The Book of Imaginary Beings" (1957). Drawing from this experience, which challenges the spatial verticality through suspended, moving pieces crafted from folded and cut paper, the students will develop their own coursework. This visit introduces the interdisciplinary arts and education project that will be carried out.
This visit reflects IPLUSO's commitment to practical, interdisciplinary education, connecting contemporary art with the classroom and inspiring creative thinking in students from the very start of the academic year.
