    We live in a society that is constantly changing, where the strategic importance of voice, data and video communications networks, which are happening at an ever-increasing pace, has triggered the need to train technical specialists with knowledge of applications and the ability to understand and work effectively with professional equipment. This shortage of technical staff hampers not only the ability of service providers to grow and develop, but also the creation of technology-based companies, which is why it is essential to train staff with comprehensive and unique knowledge of the area. Looking at the recent future scenarios of technological evolution, the creative industries and the IoT (Internet of Things), it can be seen that communications, electronics and telecommunications have a huge weight, and there is therefore a high need for staff able to carry out maintenance on all systems. The CTeSP in Telecommunications, Electronics and Communications Systems aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes to plan, execute, manage, configure and carry out electronic, telecommunications, communications and telematic systems infrastructures with the integration of voice, data and video services in a comprehensive and articulated way, aspiring to develop and expand ¿knowledge¿ and ¿know-how¿ and respond effectively to the needs of organizations.

    - Holders of the 12th grade or legally equivalent qualification; - Holders of professional courses; - Holders of CETs, CTeSPs or higher education degrees; - Over 23s - those who have passed the tests specially designed to assess their ability to attend higher education.
  • ObjectivosObjectives

    Train professional technicians who are able to plan, size, supervise and install electronic equipment and telecommunications and telematics infrastructures and ensure their repair and maintenance.
  • CompetênciasCompetences

    - Plan, organize and/or execute or guide the installation of electronic equipment and systems, respecting the safety standards for people and equipment; - Planning, organizing and/or executing or directing the installation of telecommunications systems and networks, respecting safety standards for people and equipment; - Developing and implementing electronic circuits and equipment that meet the required specifications; - Implementing adjustments and corrections to electronic circuits and equipment in order to optimize their operation; - Participating in and supporting changes and corrections to telecommunications systems and networks in order to improve the quality of services; - Developing and supporting the preparation of technical reports and user support manuals.
