The CTeSP in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the Polytechnic Institute of Lusophony aims to provide skills and preparation in the field of Hotel and Restaurant Management, with the main objective of training professionals who are able to carry out their professional activity in the business context inherent in these fields.

ObjectivosObjectives
The main objective of the Higher Professional Technical Course in Hotel and Restaurant Management at the IP Luso School of Administration Sciences is to train hotel and restaurant professionals with the skills to coordinate, implement and supervise the main hotel and restaurant practices, reconciling organizational objectives with customer satisfaction. -
CompetênciasCompetences
- Defining the commercial policy for accommodation, guaranteeing the quality of services and customer orientation; - Coordinating and controlling the reception, rooms and laundry activities of a hotel organization, ensuring quality of service; - Supervising maintenance plans for equipment and systems in hotels and restaurants; - Defining the commercial policy for food and beverage services, ensuring quality of service and customer orientation; - Coordinating and controlling food service work, structuring menus and calculating costs; - Coordinating and organizing food and beverage operations, ensuring service quality; - Supervising the application of hygiene and safety standards in the hotel and restaurant industry; - Implementing processes inherent in managing work teams in hotels and restaurants; - Managing hotel and restaurant activities and/or operations using computer applications; - Controlling, analyzing and evaluating commercial results through statistical analysis and the preparation of reports. -

Graduates will be able to work in hotel or similar complexes, associations and companies in the hotel and restaurant industry. -

Classes are held at the IPLUSO facilities, in a modern building. IPLUSO is equipped with adequate material, didactic and pedagogical resources, in terms of accessibility, infrastructure and equipment that are placed at the service of the students of the Higher Professional Technical Course (CTeSP) in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
