ApresentaçãoPresentation
The Biomedical Laboratory Sciences degree is the result of combining the study areas of Clinical Analysis and Public Health and Pathological, Cytological and Thanatological Anatomy. Its scientific areas are inherent to clinical-laboratory and epidemiological research with the aim of supporting screening, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy and monitoring based on the study of biological samples, namely organs, tissues, cells and organic and/or inorganic liquids. Students on the Biomedical Laboratory Sciences course obtain a degree with 4 years of schooling and are qualified to work as Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technicians (CNAEF area: 725 - Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies).
